Start your exciting week on board catamaran from the port of Castellamare di Stabia in the Bay of Naples. This is the perfect opportunity to discover the beautiful city of Naples, try some fantastic pizza and enjoy the stunning views of Vesuvius that looms over the city.
You can then sail to the island of Procida, this jewel of an island preserves something of the old Italian charisma and has featured in a few well-known films and is the perfect place to anchor for the evening while you enjoy your first dinner on board.
Today you will sail to Ischia, known for is lush and varied landscape and being the largest island in the Bay of Naples, there is plenty to see here. You can visit the thermal springs that have been used to promote health for millennia or the Aragonese castle, the original protection of the island that rises out of the sea.
There are also many beautiful beaches that you can anchor you catamaran off for a day of picnicking, snorkelling and playing with the water toys. In the evening, be sure to try the local wines Biancolella and the red Pere’e palumno along with a selection of wonderful fresh fish.
Set sail with the crew from Ischia to Capri today for glamourous whitewashed houses and some of the most fabulous dining on the Amalfi Coast. Explore the surrounding caves, a great place to dive in with your snorkel and mask.
In the afternoon, wander inland from the harbour and lunch at Il Riccio, a beach club with breath-taking panoramic views and even better food. Tonight, you will stay in Faraglioni port.
Leaving the beautiful Capri, you can sail for Marina del Cantone, a popular holiday destination dating back to the time of the Ancient Romans when the Empire’s elite holidayed here. Take a dip in the sea or lie on the beach. There are some great restaurants to try on the pontoons that line the bay.
This afternoon, you can anchor outside of Positano to explore this colourful town and then sail to the port at Amalfi for the evening. This town is the gem of the coastline, being a world heritage site and with an exciting bustling atmosphere.
Enjoy a morning espresso from a café on the side of the bustling street of Amalfi town, filled with beautiful trattoria and delicious pastry shops. This afternoon, sail round the coast to the towns of Minori and Maiori.
In Minori, you will discover a beautifully preserved Roman villa, with stunning frescoes still intact. This is a town famous for its pasta making, so enjoy lunch in one of the small restaurants squeezed between the colourful buildings. Maiori is host to the biggest beach on the Amalfi Coast, the perfect place to relax in the afternoon sun. In the evening, visit the old watch tower restaurant Torre Normanna Restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience.
From Maiori, today you can sail to the beautiful town of Sorrento, with its stunning architecture, welcoming vibe and wonderful restaurants, this will be a port not easily forgotten. From Marina Piccola, walk to the smaller port of Marina Grande where you will discover some wonderful cafes and bars.
The Piazza Tasso is where you want to spend your evening, with the street closed off to cars, perfect for people watching, some sumptuous Italian cuisine and a Limoncello or two. You can stay in the port overnight here to experience this lively town at night.
Day 7: Disembark
Today, say goodbye to your wonderful crew and catamaran, enjoy your last wonderful day wandering around Sorrento, take lunch in the traditional Marina Grande and find a sun lounger on one of the beautiful pontoons that stretches out over the water.
